The Ibex Shepherd

Louis tends to never move away from his valley, which he knows stone by stone, crevasse by crevasse, tree by tree. Since childhood, he has done all the possible jobs in the high mountains: smuggler, labourer, woodcutter, poacher, shepherd. From park ranger to game ranger he observed and got to know the animals of his mountains, learned to interpret the secret signs of nature and experience it as a respectful guest. A life spent in solitude among peaks and glaciers.
